Junior Accounting & Financial Analyst – Internship

Description of the role:

As Junior Accounting & Financial Analyst you will be a part of the Control, Reporting and
Financial Planning team and you will be involved in:

  • Analysis of accounting impacts of financial operations, including derivatives, bonds,
    loans and other transactions.
  • Timely and accurate preparation of financial reporting.
  • Definition of the annual and interim Financial Statements under IAS/IFRS
    (Consolidated) and Local GAAP (Statutory).
  • Definition and monitoring of the Forecast, Budget and the multi-annual plan.

Knowledge & skills required:

  • Analytical skills, critical thinking, precision, quality focus, good organization and
    proactivity.
  • Good knowledge of local accounting principles and/or IAS/IFRS.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel in particular, Access/VBA/SQL are a plus).
  • Knowledge of SAP would be a plus.
  • Fluency in Italian is mandatory.

 

Tasks of the trainee:

  • Update of accounts payable, bank reconciliation and month-end closing.
    • Day to day recording of double entry bookkeeping.
    • Support in the Financial Statements redaction.
    • Support in the external auditing process.
