You will be working in a multi-disciplinary group, where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to carry out research and translate scientific discoveries into clinical practice. The non-coding RNAs and RNA-based therapeutics Research line is coordinated by Prof. Stefano Gustincich, with a well-established academic record in the field of functional genomics of non-coding RNAs and RNA therapeutics. Within the team, your main responsibilities will be to manage biological samples and carry out DNA/RNA library preparation for next generation and high throughput sequencing. Additionally, the candidate will manage both second and third generation sequencers (i.e., Illumina – Novaseq 6000 and Oxford Nanopore Technologies, ONT – PromethION, respectively).
